Line editing services begin at $40 for a grouping of 5 poems under 15 pages. This includes word choice, punctuation and line break suggestions, as well as personalized feedback.
Working on a larger project? Fees are structured based on page count.
Compiling
You've written the poems, now what do you do with them? Compiling services begin at $100 for chapbook length submissions under 45 pages and $200 for full length manuscripts over 48 pages. I will help your book tell a story and organize your poems into a cohesive collection.
Submitting
Guided Nature Journaling
Submission services include line edits for packets of up to 6 poems and include matching your work to the journals most appropriate to your style and content and that will best showcase your words. Starting at $75 for the submitting and tracking of poems. Monthly rates available.
I am most inspired by the natural world and have found the practice of nature journaling hugely rewarding for both my spirit and my poetry. If you are in the Hampton Roads region, I am happy to lead a group on a nature journal expedition, or "walk and write" which will include quiet observation, reading and writing to prompts in the outdoors. Rates dependent on group size.
Workshops & Readings
Mentoring
I absolutely love giving poetry workshops to groups of all ages. I love working with elementary school children and teenagers who love writing. I'm also happy to lead a workshop for a specific event and serve as an outreach teacher for senior citizens in care facilities. Depending on your needs, an hour workshop starts at $50.

I currently serve as a mentor for teens in the Muse Writers Center teen fellowship program. If you are interested in mentorship, this includes four one-on-one sessions for developing your poetic voice and strengthening your current work.
